Pat Elder is returning home and won’t be speaking on Saturday, March 14. Events in San Francisco and Berkeley were cancelled so he won’t be coming to San Jose either.

The Pentagon knew, but never warned us. Since the 1970’s, the Pentagon has covered up the reckless use of fire-fighting foam containing PFAS, “forever” chemicals that persist in the environment and our bodies. PFAS are linked to chronic and life-threatening illnesses.

The House recently passed the bipartisan PFAS Action Act in order to regulate PFAS chemicals and protect public health, but the bill is now stuck waiting for a vote in the Senate.
