Marking Earth Day: Fighting Climate Change with Diet Change Friday, April 19

Animal agriculture contributes 14.5% of anthropogenic GHG emissions. Additionally, 99% of farmed animals in the US are confined in factory farms, which poison the air and water in surrounding, often underserved and minoritized, communities. By making small but consistent changes to our diets, we can substantially reduce our collective carbon footprint. Amy Halpern-Laff of Factory Farm Coalition speaks.

WILPF SJ marks Earth Day with this presentation which is a Solidarity Event with WILPF US.

Raging Grannies open the meeting. Come early! Starts at 7 and ends at 9.

At the San Jose Peace and Justice Center, 48 S 7th Street, San Jose.
